I have lodged at "The Country Lodge" since it opened and have met some of the best people in my life who I now refer to as "my best friends". I deer hunt there and if you know deer hunting you wont find a better place to go in the states! Every year the time comes up I still get excited like i did when I was a kid for the PA opener. The Lodge is very cozy and if you get a chance to meet the Duffy's YOU WILL BE BACK!

The Country Lodge is a place for creating great memories. I have been there many times and am always pleased with the deer quality, the lodging, and the friendly atmosphere that Matt provides. I brought my son to The Country Lodge to shoot his first deer because I knew it would be a special moment and wanted it to be at a special place.

I’ve been making the journey from Florida to The Country Lodge for eight years. I look forward to the next trip from the minute I leave. I have never arrived wondering if it will be worth it and never left disappointed. Just when you think it can’t get any better, it does. The Lodge properties and the surrounding properties are managed for mature bucks and it shows in the number of encounters and harvests. Experiencing numerous mature whitetails engaging in chasing and all out brawls is an awesome experience. Harvesting a 6.5 year old Boon and Crocket Buck with bow at 25 yards is icing on the cake. Just kidding, it is the cake. The owners, guides and others that help out go above and beyond to make sure the entire experience is one to remember and want to repeat. The Country Lodge sits on the edge of a small town with big deer and big hearted people who make everyone feel at home. I can’t wait to get back.
